I'm guessing its #1.
If a person tests positive in the hospital for covid..they have to be treated for covid and treated as a contagious person with covid..perhaps the coding for that is the same or similar to admission to the hospital for covid, but i would doubt it.
I will find out though. I know a hospital administrator.
