Just by the numbers, the risk of myocarditis or pericarditis (while admittedly
is rare) is greater by receiving the vaccine than serious complications to them by contracting the virus. Either outcome I admit is rare, but from the statistics (from Johns Hopkins University and the CDC) I've seen it would appear to actually be (slightly) riskier to them to receive the vaccine.
