You seem to think there's a problem somewhere. There are always a handful of
very wealthy people in the US.
If the US wants one big payday, it can grab some of that money. But in the long-run there would be *less* tax revenue because of it.

This is incorrect man. They can wait until they pass away, get a step in basis on their assets, and have all that growth

They can let the debt run up forever and then have it paid for with assets that have stepped up in basis at their death.
