BYU will hopefully get a boost from big 12 affiliation, I don’t see how U has

suffered. They lost a non lds receiver (not a result of BYU) and they lost the 4 star D linemen to BYU, can’t say for sure that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. He’s likely a better fit here.

BYUs recruiting will likely slowly improve similar to Utah’s recruiting has, possibly with a higher ceiling but we’ve got a lot of ground to make up.

Maybe in basketball Utah will be affected but Utah basketball is already in the dumps.
