Right. As I said, the winner of Utah/Oregon is a lock. But if Oregon loses, then
they are in contention for one of those remaining slots, so hopefully they would drop below us in the rankings and not be selected.

Baylor and/or Oregon may be more attractive to bowls even if they lose. They don’t have to follow the strict rankings.
