Definitely some prents making poor decisions, probably most of us to some degree. I have struggled as a parent with making these decisions and failed many times. I appreciate you sharing your very difficult experiences. I feel that as a parent I have grown quite a bit. I no longer push my kids as much as I used to. I worry less about their popularity and more about whether they know I respect and love them. And I do like what you said.
