bored with the marching band at games this year. I hasn’t been in probably ten years and the experience was so awesome overall, but the beginning of the game where they do the cougar whatever (spell out cougars with the band) and the halftime show with the marching band we’re so boring it was almost painful. I was thinking we maybe should just get rid of the band altogether.

But PP definitely helped me remember all the things I love about the band. I do love the band DURING the game and when it plays the fight song etc. love the drum line feel, etc. it really is a huge part of the college football atmosphere. But I’d definitely be in favor of doing away with most/all of the marching band aspect.
