Alright that is actually a FANTASTIC IDEA - MAKE A 1984 PLAYLIST
I would love it if BYU embraced all things 1984 ... I think it is without a doubt one of the most intriguing and coolest years, if not THE most intriguing and THE coolest year in all of human history. And not just because BYU won a natty, but because so many cool things happened that year.

The music was off the charts too - like...theres lots of crowd pleasers for music. Here's just some songs off the top of my head (there are three ties for 2nd place, lol).

1. Somebody's Watchin' Me - Rockwell
2. I'm So Excited (and I just can't hide it) - The Pointer Sisters
2. Jump - Van Halen
2. Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams
3. We're Not Gonna Take It!
4. Rock You Like A Hurricane - Scorpions
5. Thriller - Michael Jackson
6. Footloose - Kenny Loggins
7. Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr.
8. The Longest Time - Billy Joel
9. Let's Hear it For The Boy - Deniece Williams
10. Take on Me - A-ha

Honorable Mention: State of Shock (The Jacksons) Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen, Forever Young - Alphaville, Godbless the USA Lee Greenwood, The Heart of Rock and Roll (Huey Lewis and the News), Thats the Power of Love (Huey Lewis and the News), I want to Know What Love Is (Twisted Sister), If This Is It (Huey Lewis and the News), Karma Chameleon (Culture Club), Uptown Girl (Billy Joel), You Might Think (The Cars), Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley)

I would love to have a 1984 night at LES for one of the games where we celebrate our Natty and all the students dress up in 80's and everything is focused on 1984. There's plenty of catchy songs to last the entire night and I just think it would be amazing and its a cool statement and tribute for the NC team and our aspirations moving forward.
