I was starting to wonder if anyone was gonna respond with a "positive" story, my
Kids have it real good
(they are young now, but their life will likely end up being more similar to yours than the other posters here, probably true for most posters kids)

Too bad you didn't go to my kid's schools. Lunch is free for all students. I don't know how they do it, but its all free
