Any of the pod proposals are SO much better than the division idea.
The two division thing is so.... blah. Nobody needs a "division" champion, nor does it make any sense to play some group of 5 teams every year but not some other group of teams. It should be on a rotation of some kind as suggested.

Sorry, misread. But NCAA rules are divisions for conferences with 12+ teams. AAC only has 11 since UConn left

I like the idea of 4 3-team pods. Each season, you play all teams in your pod, then rotate two other pods each season.

Interesting idea, though I think I'd prefer an 8-game conference schedule so we can have 4 OOC games.
