And...if you read the details the teachers don't get to leave an hour early,

they are to use the 17 hours per week as prep time. Those who are not teachers or spouses of teachers will not understand the fact that after they have put in their 8 hours AT the school each day, there is another 1.5 to 3 hours at home correcting homework, doing grades, emailing parents, lesson planning, etc. I dare any of you to give it a shot and let me know if you feel you're underpaid.
