I had decent strength and when I wanted to, or got lucky, I could sting the catcher’s palm with my amazing 85 MPH fastball. Lol.

The thing with 13 year olds with fastballs is that we throw strikes not exactly because we meant to clear the strike zone. The faster the pitch the less accurate I think, is the rule.

I remember one game, I hit like three batters in a row. It was effective in scaring the competition. I was in their heads man. But not enough!! I wanted more.

So for my coup de grâce, I signaled to my always-reliable second baseman to inch his way to second base to throw out the aggressive base runner who was sitting halfway to third.

Signal sent, waiting 5 seconds, and then threw my 85 MPH ball straight into the field ump who was standing at second base where my sleeping baseman was supposed to be.

Yeah, game paused for 30 mins and he went to the ER. But nobody messed with me after that.
