I have started to be that way with sports. It's kind of nice. Come join me. If I take a pessimistic view and bad stuff doesn't happen, then I'm pleasantly surprised. A way of hedging my emotional sports fandom bets. LOL

Side story, now that I've lived in Texas I have really enjoyed watching UT and rooting for them. Of course they will never replace my cougars, but if they win it's fun, if they lose it doesn't affect me nearly as much as if BYU loses.
