If you like Whole Life, you must be a salesman. How stupid!
Why is it that most on here act like experts in something they know nothing about and the only criticism they have of the something they know nothing about is that the salespeople of that product make a lot of commission.
In most industries - law, medical, sports training, etc., those who make the most are generally worth their fee.
I don't sell Whole Life insurance. I do sell P&C insurance. But I can tell you they're are definite, great benefits that are only found in whole life.
That said, my suggestion is to learn for yourself and stop asking a bunch of self-professed experts.
There is limitless amounts of information and educational tools available.

The exact commission paid to the agent on the contract should be a disclosed line item on the contract.
