NO, you are not REQUIRED to spend time in your work culture. You CHOOSE to.
You CHOOSE to have a family. You CHOOSE to have a job. etc. etc. etc.
There are people who prioritize other things over career. Women everywhere CHOOSE to quit careers to be moms. There are people that CHOOSE to live alternative lifestyles, off-grid, homesteading, etc.
You can get a job that has limited hours. OR you can be an entrepreneur and set your own hours.
Stop playing the victim and blaming society for your choices.
