Amazon was the highest bidder last go round, but the Big Ten opted for CBS + NBC

So, Amazon was willing to pay MORE than $75M per school for the Saturday afternoon and evening games.

Also, even with the 7th pick, Amazon would get better selections than Cal-Rutgers most weeks. For instance, here are the Big Ten and PAC schedules for Week 5, except for Cal-USC replaces Cal-Wazzu and ASU-USC. Amazon would likely get a USC, Wisconsin, or Nebraska game or two.
