Yeah, 3 terms people need to understand are truth, belief, and opinion.

Truth is fact regardless of my beliefs or opinions, and I can accept that my opinions may not be truth. Belief is in the middle. That is the "my truth" space, where someone may honestly think something is true, but their belief does not change whether or not it is actually true.
