I have no problem with anything he said. Putting myself in his shoes I'd feel the exact same way.

Imagine your first conference game you see our fans throwing garbage and water bottles at the refs. You don't think that is going to influence your opinion on those fans?

I think he was just sharing so that we know how we come across to other people not of our fanbase.

Even as a BYU fan I roll my eyes at the constant complaints of the WCC gym sizes, the refs, Randy Bennett, and saying good riddance to this crappy conference that is so pathetic and we are too good for it....yet we can't even win it.

There is definitely a loud segment of our fans who are self-righteous entitled whiners who hate and personally attack anyone who beats our school.

Yes, we can point to pretty much every fan base and show examples that are worse than ours. But that doesn't make his observations any less true.
