Yes and we beat both teams in years we were expected to lose and lost in years we were expected to win.
We didn’t win a title in men’s bb, who cares? BYU is a football school. We aren’t a basketball school. Our fans are hardcore into football performance. Our Olympic sports and other sports outside of men’s bb actually dominated the WCC but who cares about those titles either?
BYU owes a lot of the WCC for providing a home for us when we needed one and we had some great years here. But now we are moving into a Power League and I won’t think twice about SMC or Santa Clara or San Francisco ever again. And I certainly won’t be going on any of their message boards to call their fans out for acting like fans.
