I think most of us are thick skinned enough to take some valid criticism.
I’ve got no problem with the content of what the St Marys fan said here. In fact, I’m glad he came on here and said what he did.
Who cares?
If people criticize us as a fan base, it seems to me we always get better. It’s part of our culture. In fact, sometimes criticism is needed. We want to be the best we can be. Criticism is fine.
He who takes offense when none is intended is a fool. And, he who takes offense when offense is intended is a greater fool.
Would I go on another fan board and write a short story chastising the weaknesses of their fan base and trying to ease it by giving backhanded compliments? Nope.
But, if someone else does it to us, meh, who cares.
