He’s got the right long term vision for how to build and develop the team and roster IMO but he needs an OC and DC to develop a stable system from an Xs and Os standpoint and solid position coaches to develop players.

The offense has been doing fantastic at it— the focus is on the OL and we have a QB-friendly system. Then we adjust to the talent at TE, WR, and RB positions. We have good enough player development we’ve had several draft picks and don’t really show any signs of slowing down until something changes.

The defense hasn’t been nearly as great but once Kalani saw it wasn’t going to work out he went out and found Hill who seems to fit the job and shares his vision of building up the DL.

The big question is can we keep bringing in guys of Roderick, Grimes, and Hill (I’m gonna guess this one works out) quality. If we don’t have too many duds and we don’t keep them too long, then I’m not terribly worried, especially if we have this injury bug finally figured out.
