already than Northwestern and can already beat many if not most of the teams in the B12. BYU has already beaten Texas and Oklahoma and other tough P5 teams, without being in a P5 conference.

BYU can recruit much better than Northwestern can and I think he is wrong in that BYU's recruiting will not improve. How many top LDS recruits went to USC, Stanford, Oregon and even Utah that liked BYU but wanted a P5 conference. BYU will now be able to pick up more of those recruits and will also have access to and interest from many others, non-LDS recruits due to being in a P5 and in the B12 with a footprint in Texas and Oklahoma, Florida, etc.

BYU's overall program, facilities, culture, fanbase from the top down is already far ahead of Northwestern IMO.
