Depending on who we pick up in the portal, I could see us going something like 4-5 at home and 2-7 on the road. A 6-12 conference record would put us on the bubble.

West Virginia made it as a 9 seed going 7-11 in conference, and Texas Tech/Oklahoma finished ranked #63/#68 going 5-13.

Next year could definitely be abysmal. Every game is basically a tournament game, and we know our tournament record is awful. But I really think the Marriott Center gives us a distinct advantage, it should manifest itself the 2nd half of the season with the travel distance of our opponents. Not sure I buy the altitude argument but there’s also that.

Can’t wait for next year. Could go 3-15 in conference or 9-9. Either way it’ll be fun to play with the big boys
