whatever pain or emptiness I feel is dismal compared to
the suffering my children would endure if I were not there with/for them.
Although this thought process isn't for everyone, it keeps me going. When I get in these ruts, the best way out of it is to go and do something nice for someone else. That's when I best feel the Savior's love for me and for them. That usually helps in the short term.
