Couldn't agree more. It took me my entire life to learn the difference between

guilt and shame. It's opened up a way to find happiness even in my weaknesses. I am not "my mistakes." I am me. I make mistakes. We all make mistakes. We are not our mistakes. We are children of a loving God. He loves us even in our weaknesses. If he can love me, then I can love myself.
