I'm sorry but there is ZERO reason to back off a recruit because that recruit is being recruited by others...

That tells me that they didn't have confidence in their ability to sell their coaching, the program and BYU. The fact that Lamb's approach was to find the diamond in the rough type of recruits... high risk athletes that had to be coached up, which they never were is a strategy that I'm glad is gone now.

The BIG12 should NEVER have changed recruiting from what it was to something else.
