Sorry it has been a while. The rain has really delayed us on our construction. Also moving to a new location has been tough. We still don't have the internet. I expect progress to pick up quite a bit in the next few weeks.

Here is a Run down on what has happened on the property since the last update.

I rented a Mini-Ex with a 24 inch bucket and started to dig. I had never run an excavator before, but it was easy to learn. After 3 days I thought I had dug enough, and it started to rain. And It rained and rained and I had a lake. It barely dried out and I was ready to start digging and it started raining some more. I couldn't get part of it dug because I needed to have my Natural gas line pinched off, also I found that I still needed to widen out the space another 2 feet.

So yesterday I rented the Mini-Ex again. I finished digging out the house footprint, and I added an additional sewer and potable water line out to where I will park my camper. Just for fun on the same line, I also added a place where I can put a temporary flushing port-a-potty. I will remove it after the construction and bury the connections, but it will be super useful as we construct.
