don’t think the majority of us here felt the TEs were a problem. BYU has had some excellent TE play since Coach Clark has been coaching. It’s hard to know what Kalani’s rationale was. He obviously had his reasons, but they were not very apparent to fans. Coach Funk was a different story as the OL clearly did not produce this year and was in the bottom of the FBS ranks for the position.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with the pain of unexpected job loss. My father went through that at one point and you are handling it a lot better than I did.
Coach Clark is a highly experienced and respected coach. I’m sure he will have no trouble finding another coaching position if that’s what he wants.
A HUGE thank you to him for his hard work and loyalty to BYU these last several years. Thanks to your family as well for supporting him through all of it. I can’t imagine how stressful it would be to coach at this level, and how that stress directly affects a coach’s family.
God bless your Dad and your family. Please don’t stop cheering for BYU as you and people like you are a much valued part of our fan family.
