10 is max, breakdown doesn't have to be 5/5, but it's hard to imagine taking resources away from Hill immediately
They could (in theory) also have fired
- LB coach Justin Ena
- Kelly Poppinga take over LB as well as his current DE and ST duties
- Kelly Poppinga take over LB and keep ST but give DE to Pouha
- DE/ST coach Kelly Poppinga
- Give DE duties to Pouha or Ena, give ST to Hill?
- DT coach Sione Pouha
- Give Poppinga DT role as well as his current DE and ST roles
Given that they were all just hired new under Hill and the desire to keep Defense and Offense balanced, plus the complication of Poppinga running ST, if you're hiring a QB coach, it makes more sense to take it out of the offense side.
If you wanted to do it on defense, I'd think the best way would be to lose Ena, with Poppinga as LB/ST and Pouha as DT/DE. But Ena doesn't deserve it any more than Clark does
