It's really sad that CougConnect has become controversial. It shouldn't be like that at all..its an organization whose purpose is to benefit BYU athletics.

It wasn't viewed in a negative light by hardly anyone until all the unashamed ads disguised as posts started showing up here. The one that really pushed people over the edge was the "click here for some inside info on BYU football!!" then in the post it's a referral link to CougConnect. I get it - its a way to try to shove CougConnect down everyone's throats in the off chance that someone hasn't heard of it, but that approach is going to annoy a lot of people who previously had a neutral or positive opinion of CougConnect.

Also 100% agreed regarding the Marcus Adams posts. Considering his circumstances its in EXTREMELY poor taste to take shots at him. Some CBers have no shame and very low emotional IQ.
