What did we do wrong? I am sure it isn’t supposed to be that strong. We didn’t even finish the ice cream.
No interest in circumventing the WoW for something that was that gross.
Took one bite and that was enough. It tasted like cold mushy vodka. And burned going down for sure.

I make gallons of vanilla a year. I’ve never made something that burned when using homemade vanilla.

Could have been a few things. Poor beans. Not enough beans. Didn’t let them age long enough. Didn’t shake them often.
