You can parse words and delve into the semantics of what Zach Morris said, but the point that he made still stands. Bronco and the coaching staff, as evidenced by the article I linked earlier and what was written on the recruiting website (those are the talking points that are told to every recruit), did indeed boast about having the second most players in the NFL behind USC. Bronco has changed his tune since now only eight(!) former BYU players are on NFL rosters--a far cry from the 27 we had when Bronco took over 10 years ago.
The talking points were similar when Crowton was coach (I concede he doesn't specifically mention USC). Look at the archived site when he was coach, it mentions 24 former BYU players in the NFL. We have 1/3 that number today.
