The tremendous recruiting hotbed that is the state of Utah? The huge advantages of the honor code in attracting what are often coddled, self-centered, womanizing athletes? The academics? All TIC of course.

In my mind BYU is a really really unique institution in college football -- challenging academics once in and above average academics required to get into school, honor code that eliminates I'd bet 90% of potential recruits from day 1, mission come and go that no other single program in the country deals with, etc. This has all been rehashed many times but if we look at comparables with BYU there are very few and they arent pumping out NFL players either.
