Why is the dichotomy wrong? After putting Ziggy into the NFL, Bronco changed his
tune and said that putting guys in the NFL is important.
It's one of two things:
1) Bronco et al. recruit lazy and unmotivated players;
or
2) Bronco et al. don't develop the players that they sign.
Sure, there are some institutional features that make it difficult, but BYU still gets talented guys!
One year of not getting guys drafted...okay I get it...but systematically? No way...this is a major problem.
What am I missing?
