False. During the Crowton era BYU had the 2nd most players in the NFL

west of the Mississippi behind USC. Bronco and Crowton boasted of it on more than one occasion. In fact in Bronco's first couple years of coaching he mentioned this in the media a few times... Then as BYU's NFL player numbers dropped off substantially Bronco changed his tune and started talking about how going to the the NFL wasn't really all that great anyway.

I'm assuming going to the NFL becomes a great accomplishment again once Bronco gets a few guys in there though.
