I didn't say that NFL scouts look to see how good a team is and then pick

players. I said that good players increase the probability that their team will win. If BYU had 5 or 6 guys drafted next year, it's because some guys did some really great things. Sure, those great things are not guaranteed to translate into wins, but it definitely increases the excepted value.
