I don't see what BYU does as hypocrisy
Individuals can be involved in minor transgressions and still receive accolades from BYU without BYU as an institution participating in such transgressions.
For example, we have alumni who drink alcohol that I believe should still be recognized for whatever accomplishments they make in their respective fields. However, that doesn't mean BYU should sell alcohol on campus. Very different situations in my mind.

Really? So how is BYU any different from every other D1 program. You get offered if your good, BYU doesn't control that.
