i've posted about this a hundred times. BYU sends their coaches to recruit
their future stars who are playing on sunday in various basketball tournaments. their coaches are in the stands on sunday watching these guys play.
they also build a huge shrine to all the PRO players who also play on sunday. it's very obvious BYU (and the church) are ok with people playing on sunday as long as they aren't wearing BYU laundry.
this stance is SO VERY WEIRD to me...and, quite frankly, a bit hypocritical. if they were so hard core they should destroy the NFL/NBA section of the student athlete building and build a shrine to eli herring and others like him. they should also recruit only HS players that also refuse to play on sunday. they should not send their coaches out to recruit these players on sunday either.

Really? So how is BYU any different from every other D1 program. You get offered if your good, BYU doesn't control that.
