College football players are more than just employees. They are the product. It would be cool to see the majority of football players stick it to the man and just refuse to play college football, but that is completely unreasonable. What alternative do they have? Most of these kids think they have a shot at the NFL, even though their chances are really slim. The NFL won't let teams draft a kid straight out of high school and there is no minor league for the NFL. College football is their only choice if they wish to pursue football.
