One major issue with athletes being slaves...

The athletes do have a choice to be there or not. If they don't like it, don't play. Get a loan and pay through the nose for the rest of your life like the rest of us. Is it that complicated? Businesses all over the world make their money off of the entry level worker. Interns, temps, apprenticeships. How is this any different?

You want to see bad working conditions? Try playing rookie league baseball. You will QUICKLY take back your stance on making all sports minor leagues.
