Agree. The scheme is antiquated, and useless against spread option teams...
...where speed is necessary, not just strength. Bronco and/or Kaufusi's scheme seems oriented toward 280 + pound d-linemen. The problem is the kids we target and develop have no speed and can't pressure the quarterback, or contain the QBs who scramble. Bronco admitted as much when he has said in this scheme, he expects the linebackers to pressure the QB. That hasn't been working without KVN.
