Utah, over the past 20 years, has undeniably been the better school in sending d linemen to the pros. Off the top of my head, I can think of Luther Ellis, Sione Pouha, Sealver Siliga, Paul Soliai, Maake Kemoeatu, the Kruger brothers, Derrick Shelby, Koa Misi, Star, Tenny Palepoi, Trevor Reilly, and now it looks like Orchard and maybe Hunter Dimick and the other Lotulelei brother have a future in the NFL. As for BYU, I can think of Ziggy, Ryan Denney, and Brett Keisel. It's easy to see why a highly rated d-lineman would want to go to Utah over BYU. Perhaps a switch to a 4-3 scheme would be a good thing, allowing not only the linebackers to shine, but the linemen as well?
