LB and Safety recruiting has been an emphasis in Bronco's "phenomenal system"...
...and it seems like there's been no real push to get really good OL's until last year when we went hard to the end to get Damien Mama. This is a lesson Bronco has never learned. He inherited some really good young OL's from Crowton and the best part of Bronco's career was using those OL's. Guys like Dallas Reynolds, Travis Bright, Rey Feinga all spent time in the NFL and they anchored a pretty good OL for him.

Since then we've seen nothing but disappointment from the OL and nobody getting into the NFL. The best all time OL recruit in BYU history was the 4th rated OL prospect in his recruiting class, was a 1st team Freshman All-American and as early as his sophomore year he was rated to be a potential 1st round NFL draft pick. 2 more years in Bronco's "phenomenal system" rendered him completely undraftable and after a year or two on practice squads he's not even in the NFL anymore (Matt Reynolds).
