He was a pretty good coach, but . . .
. . . he seemed to have a huge chip on his shoulder about many things, which came through in comments to the press, relations with fans, and other PR-related matters (apparently including recruiting). IMO, the nepotism charge is way over-blown among some folks (and particularly certain fans from Utah County who seem to have a hard time letting HS rivalries go when players move on to college ball). Just my two cents.
