and had small forwards like Schreiner and Roberts just killing people down low. He was great at using his undersized posts and getting great entry passes to them. Not so great at perimeter game. Rose is outstanding in that regard.
I think he blew it by not coaching up the other talented guard from Richfield (Ryan somebody) who was a real big name pre mission but ran into the Robbie/Randy logjam when he got back. He was a big time player who lit up the Russian junior national team on a tour through the US when they played in Provo.
Bradley was the biggest name, then Ryan and finally Ken Roberts who drug his feet but finally signed. He was the only one of the three to make a substantial contribution to BYU basketball.
