Too emotional & not media friendly - but people also forget that there was a lot
of dissension among the players on his teams. In fact most of his players despised him, and later on many were upset about the treatment his sons got, not that they didn't deserve to be starters, but that there were communication issues & perceptions of preferential treatment that he couldn't resolve.
In the end he was like a football coordinator who struggles with being a head coach - great mind with the Xs and Os, but no soft skills to deal with the gray areas that a head coach has to master in order to be successful.
