Third, the vast majority of the team couldn't stand Reid and hated playing for him. I could back this up with some examples but I want to honor the trust given me by these players, even after so many years. It came to a head and he was fired - not for wins/losses, but for how he treated his players.

The players didn't seem to take much issue with Randy/Robby running point - or with them personally. They were skilled kids who did a decent job on the floor, and fairly easy to get a long with. I think most of that criticism came from fans.
