at the bigger picture.

When you look at the top 15 recruits in the state of Utah and realize that we never even had a shot with the top 5 guys and currently have only signed 2 of the top 15 recruits then there is a problem. Then you look closer and we are losing out on guys with the last name of Covey, Empey, and most likely Reid and for some reason or another didn't even go after the quite possibly the best athlete to come out of the county in quite some time. Then we have guys that started, not guys that are sitting on the sidelines, but starters and for sure would be in the two deep next year with great chances for PT leaving the program.

Then you have Bronco who had better success with Crowton's recruits than his own recruits and you just have to wonder if we are having success in the recruiting field. It will be an interesting trend to watch but it is always important to be able to get the guys in your own backyard and we just aren't doing it.
