Role players are not misses in my mind. I count 9 that fulfilled their role, 3 that didn't. Inconclusive means they don't count against the stats.

Hence, 9 for 12 were successfully recruited (found players to fill a needed role successfully). That's a good hit rate if you compare to other programs beyond the myopic state of Utah.

So USU has had more guys put up good stats...big deal. I'll take our 10 years over theirs any day. They can have post players put up 12 and 8 and with 0 tourney wins and an occasional 12 seed appearance.

I'll stick with a top 10 offense and the best decade in BYU history (surpassing any decade in USU history as well), with 8 bids and advancing 3 times.

When you twist numbers and refuse to acknowledge an opposing viewpoint that is well thought out, it dampens good discussion. The point about USU is interesting and worth thinking about and hashing through, but not to have to sift through the rest of the troll-like commentary.
