As to your post, it's mostly true but you are way overstating Whit's value.
Look at Utah's top contributors- they are mostly jucos brought in by Dennis Erickson. Credit Kyle for the hire, but without Erickson bringing in the juco ringers, Kyle would have been gone by now.
I'd take him over Bronco, but it's close. Both are terrible game managers and play much too conservatively with leads. Both are terrible at hiring assistants, although Kyle leads in this apartment (mostly due to the free money the Utes get from hitting the expansion lottery).
Don't fall into the trap you always do on this board where you only see best/worst. There are degrees
